Cottage Kennels are a fully licensed & insured premises,located in Strensham on the border between Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Established in 1996.
Animal Boarding License No. 24/01098/ANIACT Held by Douglas Winton.
Our facilities are set within a picturesque, former Victorian walled garden on three sides as well as being securely fenced & gated on the east side. The Kennels themselves open onto a very large paddock area, allowing your dog to enjoy individual time off the lead in a safe environment, at least three times a day. Each Kennel is individually heated & has its own covered run with voluntary access. Upon an animal's departure from our care, each kennel is thoroughly steam cleaned & disinfected to maintain hygiene & comfort for your pet. We can cater for all breeds of dog, big or small, old or young!

A message from Cottage Kennels founder & owner, Douglas Winton.
Being an experienced gun-dog handler, I fully understand the concern when entrusting your pet or working dog to a boarding kennel. A great amount of care has been taken in the design & building of Cottage Kennels to ensure that the facilities provided, primarily have the dog's comfort & needs in mind. Whilst your dog is in my care, I can guarantee that it will be fed the diet specified by you as well as, if necessary, any medication being continued. Your dog will be regularly exercised, kept safe, warm & of course, secure.
Working dogs, having had years of training & time invested in them, can be ruined in a matter of weeks. I can further guarantee that you dog will be handled & exercised to your specific instructions & will be returned responding to the same commands with no (additional) bad habits!
